Our app collects your device's precise geographic location at the time of a scan. This happens only when you actively use the scan feature within the app. We do not collect location data in the background.

The location captured at each scan is attached to that specific recycling event as a permanent, tamper-evident record. This data forms part of the end-to-end track and trace log for the waste item's recycling journey, from collection point to final processing. This enables accurate, verifiable recycling records and eliminates false or unsubstantiated sustainability claims.

We do not use your location data for advertising. We do not sell it to third parties. The data is tied to the recycling event record, not to you as a continuously tracked individual.

You can withdraw location permissions at any time through your device settings. Without location access, the scan feature will not function, as location is a required field for generating a verified recycling record.

Fulfilling your Transaction Request
